Valerie’s Test Post

Hey Wolfmoon, thank you for inviting me to be an author again!

Your invitation email came through Wed. Oct 27 at 4:40 am, fyi.

May God continue to bless All Q-Tree actions AND warriors as we keep Fighting The Good Fight!

Proverbs 24:10-12 New International Version

Saying 25

10 If you falter in a time of trouble,
    how small is your strength!
11 Rescue those being led away to death;
hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,”
does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it?
Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?

AND we fight on!

    1. Yes. That was just a quickie post to check that things worked OK for me as an author, not a serious spot for Q-Tree level conversations necessarily. No offence meant, but I usually operate from a Christian worldview AND it (hopefully) spills over in the bulk of my writing…Blessings!

If you haven’t checked out my recent Slaughter post, by all means take me to the woodshed there if need be. 😉

    1. I’m trying to see if I can comment on ANY Q-Tree stuff right now.

I just tried to reply to TradeBait via the notifier (& we were conversing on today’s daily) AND the reply wouldn’t go through.

I’m technically Only signed in to WP but in using the notifier I found a link to this post to see if I could comment there.

I’m at the public library AND both the Chrome AND Firefox browsers are blocking the Q-Tree. Here’s the warning:

      Network Security Appliance
This site has been blocked by the network administrator.
Block reason: Gateway GEO-IP Filter Alert

      IP address:

Connection initiated towards country: United Kingdom

I did NOT log in to Q-Tree because I can’t get to it. So this temp Q-tree is allowing me access via WP alone. Is this a security issue Wolf???

      1. Well at least this means I can comment on the “new” but temp Q-Tree.

        Is this good or bad?

Granted, I just wanted Peter Stormare after drawing straws but can’t hear & this looked possibly fun…

      2. For what it’s worth being on “my sites” in the top black ribbon I can get some Q-Tree info, including seeing the draft posts I have pending. The stats never showed AND I didn’t see the info I usually see when I Log In to Q-Tree usually (though technically I’m Not logged in). I’ll go see if I can actually open one of those draft posts now…OK it appears that I can’t actually see the draft post either…

        1. Thanks. For JW in Germany (I believe) I initially hit approve AND like because I thought I recognized them. But didn’t send a reply AND re-thought that someone could be pretending to be a familiar name so I unclicked Approve & the comment went back to gold highlighting.

We’re not supposed to touch any of those gold comments that represent people, right?

Obviously the gold items that come from WP, like an approve request for a link to another post from one of my blogs that I put into the post are OK for me to handle…Hope that’s clear AND correct…

    1. AND JW in Germany needs approval at my first post. I may have inadvertently given approval to someone that I thought was from the Q-Tree there. Please double check that ALL activity on that Valerie Test Post is OK–when you get a minute 🙂

      1. Yes. yearningabstractly is a long lurker who make initial comments near the very beginning of the FIRST site. When you LIKED her comment, it automatically took her out of moderation. The way it works is that if you LIKE or REPLY to a moderated comment, the poster come out of moderation. This is why, if you don’t recognize them, don’t touch the comment in any way. But no harm done this time!

        1. OK thanks for the heads up. Tail between my legs on the faux pas (again). When I hit like but not approve their comment still stayed with the gold highlighting for me so I thought it was not out in the open–my bad 😦

          1. Yeah, that interface update (where liking changes “Approve” to “Approved” with change of the border color) is really slow sometimes, and does not indicate what is actually happening down low in WordPress code. Basically it’s a BUG. There should be almost zero latency.

  1. Well I don’t know what’s going on, usual site is down and tried all the others but can find no up to date comments, and I’m on a lot later than usual so where is every one.

    1. Same here.

I verified (somewhat) that the problem isn’t on my end.

I checked the u tree, and the post thread here, just below this thread – yours is the only comment!

    2. Uh oh. I’m just getting back on today after having no Q-Tree access at the library yesterday (library computers were apparently blocking the site). I could still comment on this temp newQTree, where this post & Wolfie’s reside. I also dropped a note at the U-Tree w/out issues then too.

Hope the probs have resolved by now!

      1. Valerie,

Can you let me in? After loging in as a new writer WordUnimpressed has decide I am NOT the same person and continually locks me out whether I use my new password or not despite Wolfie ‘blessing me’ a few days ago.

I am having trouble with the other too.

        1. So hopefully Wolf helped you out for I gave him a link to the comment. If he did, because the comment isn’t showing as “gold” any more, then I hope he also helped you with whatever access &/or other issues you might still be having.

Can’t wait to see Whatever Posts you end up putting up!!! God Bless YOU, Gail!
